I finally managed to upload a wild shoot film of a multi-disciplinary arts installation presented at the Australia Felix Arts Festival in Benalla 1995.
This was probably the first all digital arts installation performance in Australia. Apple Computer sponsored the production by loaning a Centris AV 660 prototype – a newly released computer for animation
RMIT provided the software and helped with a lot of the technical work with post production.
The film comprises a rich stories collaboration involving graphics, sound art, choreography and live performance which looked to connect people with place.
It portrays layers of indigenous and European themes from evolution to issues of colonisation, environmental challenges; drawing upon sources and artefacts from the local Benalla community.
