After last year’s conference, when the truly amazing Sir Ken Robinson lent his voice to the work we’ve been doing for the Kids’ Conference over last five years, we have been working with the wider Kids’ Conference team to build participation and opportunities.
As well as continuing to work with Jo and the great team at the History Teachers’ Association of Victoria (HTAV) I’m now really pleased to have the amazing people from the Geography Teacher’s Association of Victoria (GTAV) on board. This has expanded the opportunities for kids from primary and secondary schools to present their innovative digital projects around these two fascinating fields of learning and exploration.
The team at ACU marketing and now the Department of Education and Training marketing team have really helped by supporting a better website and getting the message out through social media under the banner of ‘Kids teaching teachers!’.
And now the Kids’ Conference which will be held at ACU in Melbourne Tuesday 29 November 2016 registrations are open!
The Conference team will keep you posted from here and there…but we are hoping to see as many teachers as we can fill the lecture theatre to hear and learn from some great young innovators.
